To list the things I long today

A remedy away from blue and grey

This is a long list I kept deep within 

of words left unsaid and unseen

I miss the first time you said hello

The way your brows move and your eyes glow

An effort timid way you approached shyly

A big step from you I see politely

I miss the first text that made my heart race

A million thoughts before I cut the chase

I miss the endless nights of replies

full oh tinted emotions in disguise

I miss the group hangouts with secret signals

The bluetooth  connection and hidden dials

I miss the way you hide your hand and tickle my elbow

Your way of saying "Hi", "I'm here", "howie", "Hello"

I miss the first sundae we ate together

Something I thought we might share forever

I miss the first birthday I handed you a gift

A whirlwind romance, fear that makes gut drift

I miss the first "I love you"

And the first "I love you too"

I miss the first kiss in the cinema

A shock and a week of drama

I miss the first time I say "Now I'm brave enough"

And you told me "I'll be braver on your behalf"

I miss the secret dates and secret places

To stay away from familiar faces

I miss the long night calls when we're far away from each other

Some of the moments we never hesitate to bother

These are memories tattooed and recorded

To free from the cage and dry the tears I shed

I write these in a long hand manner

To finally release the truth and face the matter

My way of saying "I'm letting go"

And hope someday that you might know

A love that was truly created

From a woman in me to a man like you I dedicated

Though in time you might forget me

Your memories I hold until the end of infinity

To hold a document from the moments we shared

To read that once you're for me and once you cared
