My beauty remedy when I'm sick
Some of my worse days are usually coming from my sick days. What makes it even worst is the feeling of "not my beauty days at all!", avoiding the mirror atleast gives me the comfort that I do not have to care. I have an excuse these days you know.
Instead of making me feel better, it always leaves something hallow inside. That I am being too passive. That is not me!. I tend to overwork my capabilities and utilities as much as possible when it comes to any aspect of development.
Since that "awakening" , I said to myself, "sick days should also mean maintenance date" , I do not no longer have the excuse to be ugly during these times. Since, I have the time of my life, lying around, doing nothing, why not turn it to something productive. Atleast I achieved something, right?
So what to put in mind during these days? My skin! Awful cracking and drying out makes my skin look so merciless. I looked for a product that is light and almost feels nothing and yet leaves your skin feel so smooth and soft. Lol, does it almost sounds like a commercial?. But yeah, seriously, this product is best for sick days. Id love to put this on the whole day without any make up.
Garnier moisturizer, though the spf has nothing to do with you being sick, because you get to stay inside, but the smell is good for a sensitive nose and it also has whitening formula. And for those nasty drying skin bacteria, haaa! Take this!.
After putting a little some some on my face, id go and look for something to eat. I know taste buds are a little lazy when you are sick. They have this habit to transmit one sense of taste only. A little bitter you see? So for me to engulge myself into eating, I think of something that would make me feel beautiful.
Oatmeal with pretty fruits in it. I mean I ear these babies everyday. Just a little bit of a health paranoid over here. Except for coke days.
And to juice it up for more vitamin c, a cold glass of lemoncito which I made myself pretty much wraps my meal.
And I do not only let my tummy receive all the foodie love. I also give a little love love for my face. After a long day of pampering, I wash my face and wipe all the moisturizer to give it an oatmeal therapy. I make a mask out of oatmeal and a leftover juice from the lemons. You just have to squeez a little liquod from the oatmeal before you mix it with the lemon juice.
That is pretty much it. Experiment your days and do a little make over. Turning a bad one to a good one. Life is good, it just depends on you how you see it.
